[交流] 大家看看这是啥意思？

这篇文章已经收了，这是样刊Email过来，然后里面有这样一段话，不知何解，在此请教：

The back cover of the particular issue of the journal concerned will contain the Table of Contents for the issue in which every entry will be accompanied by an illustration taken from the proofs of each paper to give a brief indication its content. This illustration will have the maximum dimensions of 2 cm (width) by 1 cm (height). I would be grateful if you could choose one of the illustrations from your paper to be used in this respect, bearing in mind that such an illustration will have to be reduced to the dimensions indicated and should therefore be capable of retaining its clarity despite such reduction. Please note that spectra and chromatographic illustrations are not suitable for this purpose.
