【通告】PhD positions available at Monash Uni in Melbourne

Multiple Ph.D. student positions are available in the fall of 2010 in Professor Wenlong Cheng’s group, in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Monash University. Located in the beautiful city of Melbourne, which is classified as Beta World City and Most Livable City in the world, Monash University is a member of group of eight tertiary institutions in Australia. The Cheng’s group at Melbourne is developing a vibrant and productive NanoBionics research program using advanced nanotechnology and biotechnology. The program focuses on the fundamental issues of rationally designing next-generation nanomaterials and their further translation into real-world applications in energy and environments. Preference will be given to those with backgrounds in nanomaterials, DNA, electrochemisty, and Synchrotron X-ray.
