IFS的结果出来了，可惜挂了。

收到邮件如下。 邮件中说对中国的资助减少了，是不是他们觉得中国强大了。 用这个方法安慰真是不错，我也不怎么觉得难过了，呵呵。 Dear Dr ***, Thank you for your interest in IFS and for submitting a research proposal. We regret to have to inform you that your application has not been recommended for funding from IFS. IFS has over time received an increase in the number of applications from countries with an advanced scientific infrastructure. IFS has not been able to match this increase of applications with increased funding from our donors. Even though applications from your China are still eligible for IFS funding, our Mission Statement obliges us to give priority to applications from countries with a more vulnerable scientific infrastructure (providing such applications are of equal or greater scientific quality). China is regarded now as having an advanced scientific infrastructure. Consequently, fewer grants can be given to China. All applications submitted to IFS are considered with respect to the scientific quality, the relevance of the research topic in relation to the IFS mission, the expected developmental relevance to the country/region, the material needs of the university/research institute as well as the expected importance of an IFS grant for the future career development of the applicant. Based on one or more of these factors, your application was not recommended for funding from IFS. We wish you the best of luck in finding funding for your research from elsewhere.
