年初一接到论文大修通知 1) The results in this paper are too limited in scope to be considered for publication at this stage. Additional data that expand this work must be included before the paper will be reconsidered for publication (e.g., data that improve our understanding of the expression, regulation, function, genetics and/or applications of the gene or protein). We have provided you with an extended deadline of 180 days (six months) to generate additional data for a revised paper. 2) At least a subset of the data is below acceptable academic standards. Specifically, Figure 7 lacks a number of controls and additional data should be presented to provide molecular context to the results. 3) The paper contains grammatical, stylistic and/or typographical errors or unusual sentences and phrases. The text should be carefully edited by a native English speaker with an understanding of the subject matter and/or a professional editing agency. As a word of caution, it is important to note that there should be no text sections in the manuscript that have appeared verbatim elsewhere (to avoid the perception of plagiarism). 4) Figures 2 to 7 have very limited information content and can easily be reproduced with broadly available bioinformatics programs. These data should be presented as on-line Supplementary Data to conserve printed journal space. 5) To promote cross-referencing of papers in the journal and to increase exposure to findings among the readership of MBR it is important that the authors cite as many MBR papers as possible that can be linked to observations the present work. If necessary, the Introduction and Discussion can be slightly expanded. The authors should consider citing the following papers that have appeared in MBR and that are directly or indirectly related to the present findings. The authors are encouraged to incorporate as many papers as they think is appropriate. 第2条意见，Figure7是Southern blot 图片，说缺少对照，这个对照怎么做啊？ 审稿人对我的实验结果是不是有点怀疑啊？还有Figures 2 to 7 如果都是放到on-line Supplementary Data 部分，文章的主体部分就没有什么内容了啊，该如何修改了？ 第一次投稿，没有经验，请各位战友给分析下，谢谢了。祝大家新年快乐 |
