去年五月份投的稿，一直没有信息，我也没去管它，也没有催稿。前几天突然收到编辑的来信我才知道原来这篇文章竟然有13个审稿人没有回应，编辑发信来道歉。真负责！ Dear ***, I wanted to write and apologise for the delay in processing a decision on your paper. As you know, we require two peer reviews before making a decision on a submission. In your case it has been unusually difficult to find reviewers: we have sent out invitations on five separate occasions, to a total of thirteen reviewers. This is no reflection on your work, but rather that the reviewers have been unable to commit the time. We do now have one review complete, and I invited another referee yesterday. I hope we will be able to progress with a decision soon. I do apologise for the unfortunate delay, but rest assured I am doing everything I can to move your paper through the system!
