【求助】两亲聚合物相转变术语解释

在 Adi Eisenberg99年发表的一篇文献（Macromolecules 1999, 32, 2239-2249）里有如下一段话“At some point of the copolymer concentration, the micelles change morphology from spheres to rods to reduce the entropic penalty associated with the increase of the degree of stretching of the core-forming PS blocks.” 大概是说随着水含量的增加（水相对PS嵌段是bad solvent）PS嵌段的形态变化造成熵变化（变大还是变小呢），进而胶团由球形变为棒状，能不能解释一下这个词“entropic penalty ”的含义以及对以上这句话的理解？ 在另一篇文献里也存在这个词汇：“there is relatively little entropic penalty to balance large enthalpic gain”这句话又如何理解呢？ |
