Current Nanosciences稿约，他们的编辑让写10-40页的research/review，我们只发表过一两份相关的工作，有经验的请大家帮忙看看。 Dear Dr. X.X.XXXXX, As the General Editor of a Hot Topic Issue on Brain Physiology and Drug Targeting to be published by Current Nanosciences – BSP Bentham Science Publications (http://www.bentham.org), I am inviting you to join me in this assignment. This thematic Hot Topic will cover the recent updates on Brain Targeting and Delivery using novel nanoparticulates platforms and technologies. I am addressing this invitation to you; nevertheless, please feel free to spread it within your research group. You are actively working in the fascinating area of NanoTechnologies, being therefore a great pleasure for me to invite you to contribute with a research/review paper devoted to this field "Towards Brain Targeting: XXX Nanoparticles" or anything on the similar lines. 这个公司名声不大好～～～～请看下面的信息： 据《科学家》杂志报道，一家开放获取期刊同意出版一篇由电脑程序“撰写”的无意义论文，并向文章作者索取800美元的出版费用。 美国康奈尔大学科学通信博士生Philip Davis和《新英格兰医学杂志》（NEJM）国际事务和产品开发执行理事Kent Anderson设诱饵引出了这场闹剧。在收到大量来自Bentham科学出版商请求投稿的垃圾邮件后，Davis和Anderson在2009年1月末向Bentham旗下期刊——《开放信息科学期刊》（TOISCIJ）投了一篇假论文。该论文名为《解构进接器》（Deconstructing Access Points），由麻省理工学院开发的SCIgen电脑程序编写。二人用了假名和假研究机构，文中充斥大量编造的图表、数据和参考文献，导言开篇读起来就毫无意义。 根据Bentham网站介绍，其出版“200多种开放获取期刊”，覆盖学科包括生物信息学、药理学、工程学以及神经科学等。 Davis表示，上周TOISCIJ通知他论文已被接受。Bentham出版助理Sana Mokarram女士email通知他，论文“经过TOISCIJ的同行评审后已经被接受，准备发表”。不过Davis表示，他没有收到任何关于这篇假论文的评审意见，Bentham是否做了同行评审十分可疑。 此外，在Mokarram女士的email中，随信还附有一张费用表格，要求Davis向位于阿联酋免税区的一个邮箱邮寄800美元费用。 Davis回信收回了这篇论文。他在回信中说：“我们在原稿中发现了一些错误，使得研究和结果的真实性存在疑问。”他表示，他曾想凑足800美元寄过去看看该论文是否真的能够发表，不过又考虑这样可能有点过头了。他说：“我认为情况已经很明了，而且我只是个研究生，800美元可不是个小数目。” 透过这场闹剧，Davis和Andrews表示，这件事突出了开放获取-作者付费模式的潜在严重缺陷。Davis说：“一些出版商会将这看成一个有利可图的机会，在这种开放获取条件下，一些出版商会利用学术界及研究机构的美好意愿进行牟利。”而Anderson则认为这种情况几乎是必然的。 不过开放获取倡导者、美国Earlham学院的Peter Suber认为，问题不在开放获取模式本身。他表示，“如果这种模式从本质上就值得怀疑，那么我们早就该将批评的矛头对准了数量更多的订阅期刊”，因为许多订阅期刊也收取版面费。 至于Bentham，Suber指出，“关于他们业务的疑问”已经流传一年多了。他说：“开放获取期刊质量参差不齐，订阅期刊也一样。”（科学网 梅进/编译） |
