| Stir the capped sample 3ml 1mol/L boron trifloride /methanol solution and then heat in a bath for 10 minutes (when methyl esterification takes place). Add 0.5ml n-hexane and extract after it cooled. The upper organic phase is analysed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. |

Then incubate the tube in water bath at 70~75℃ for 10 minutes (during which methyl esterification takes place). Add 0.5ml n-hexane and extract after it cooled. Finally, the upper organic phase is subjected to gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis. |
