向Information Processing Letters投稿遭遇，请大家帮忙出出主意

我09年12.28号向Information Processing Letters数据库领域编辑S.E. Hambrusch投稿，论文双栏单倍行距9页，2010年1.7号S.E. Hambrusch处理（估计刚休假回来），1.13号因为格式问题被拒，回信如下。 Dear **, I regret that I am unable to process your submission in the current format. The aim of IPL is to allow rapid dissemination of interesting results in the field of information processing in the form of short, concise papers. To this end, submissions should not exceed the equivalent of nine A4 or 81/2-by-11 double-spaced typed pages. Your paper is in two-column, single spaced format. The text, especially on the last 3 pages, is so dense that I find it rather difficult to read. A submission needs to be one-column format, double space, and at most 9 pages. Should you resubmit a revision to IPL, you may want to choose an editor in the area of computational complexity. Yours sincerely, S.E. The text is so dense可以是被拒的理由吗？ 2、A submission needs to be one-column format, double space, and at most 9 pages. 觉得她这个理由很无稽，原因如下： （1）我投稿前专门问了managing editor Andrzej Tarlecki格式的问题，答复是格式没关系（见下）,我目前把这个情况跟S.E. Hambrusch历年发表的文章，档次水平都很高，咨询国外数据库领域的一个留学生，认为S.E. Hambrusch is very good at theory and algorithms. 郁闷，不知S.E. Hambrusch这样是否公正，有失偏颇？我怎么保护自己的权利，而不至于辛苦几个月的工作仅因为格式或编辑原因就被over？ 此外如果S.E. Hambrusch确实觉得证明不易理解（相关工作中有作者在ACM transactions on Databases提供另一公理系统证明，与我的繁简程度相当，难道IPL的编辑就这么水平？），我考虑能否将公理系统证明删略，在网上提供技术报告给出证明细节？不知期刊是否允许这样。 |
