各位 虫友： 小虫我新手上路，向对方教授要邀请信，有劳帮忙分析一下对方回信 Thank you so much for your letter and CV. Your research interests do indeed correspond with mine, and I am always looking for opportunities to do xxx research in these areas. I am currently on sabbatical leave from the University, and won't return to the xxx Department until August 2010, when classes begin for the new academic year. Also, for the past nine years I have been working as a senior administrator at the University, so I no longer have an active research group of graduate students. Rather, I have been collaborating with other research colleagues (primarily xxx in Canada) on collecting major data sets that allow us to test new hypotheses [I've attached a recent article]. Given all this, I would have to contact the xxx Department about what the possibilities are for setting up a post-doc for next year. Also, you and I would have to have some conversations about what the expectations would be for the post-doc, and for the cross-cultural research that we might do. I would appreciate it if you could send me English translations of some of your most recent articles on xxx and xxx. I look forward to hearing from you. 问题有三： 1、该教授年近70，早年进行的研究影响很大，但是目前科研项目较少，是否有必要再联系其他教授？ 2、老教授 所在学校排名前十，本人博士 刚刚毕业， 科研能力不是很强， 对方接受的可能性大吗？ 2、想早些开始博士后研究， 最好从5月份开始， 这样才能不耽误教学工作。能够提出这样的要求吗？ 谢谢 各位 虫子 指教 ！ 不胜感激！ |
