Many thanks to all participants! Clint Estwood: Thank you. Well, I'd just like to say er, congratulations to all the nominees and I wish them all good luck. So here are the nominees for the Best Director of Motion Picture: The "Match Point" with Woody Allen. "Good Night, And Good Luck" George Clooney. Very good. "King Kong", Peter Jackson. "Brokeback Mountain" Ang Lee. Fernando Meirelles"Constant Gardener", and Steven Spielberg for " Munich". Anglee: And the Golden Globe goes to "Brokeback Mountain", Ang Lee. Wow, getting this award for this movie from the man, owes too much. Er, well it's embarrassing for me to say, because I spend so much time making movies. I sometimes get too uptight, too critical to enjoy them, especially my own. But this movie I have, this year I have to say I've seen and loved so many of my colleagues' films, that make this award from er, Hollywood Foreign Press so much more special because I think this has been an amazing year for American cinemas. Um, thank you. So, so I just wanna give my first thank to my fellow film-makers for strengthening my faith in movies and in the power of movies to change the way we're thinking. Thank you. And the, I also have been waiting for five years, ur, since last time I stood here to thank someone I forgot to last time, my friend and editor Tim Squyres. Er, it's been bugging me all this time. And I know I've been haunted by the thought of the people I, I do not have time to thank tonight and but I think, I guess, that's a theme of "Brokeback Mountain" anyhow. Um, so here it is a short list, Annie Proulx, Larry McMurtry and Diana Ossana, everyone at Focus Feature especially James Schamus and David Lindy, my incredible cast and crew: Jack, Heath, Michelle, Anne and Stacy Snider, and Universal, BC and the, our love memory to Geraldine Peroni, and Dylan Tichenor for filling her place for the mission. Um, finally to my family, my dad, this is for you, er, my mom, my brothers, sisters, my two lovely sons Haan and Mason and my wife, Jane Lin and everybody in China I wish you a very Happy New Year.
