[交流] 帮忙翻译成英语-关于无机化学电极电势

内容如下
“正确使用电极电势表应注意
标准电极电势表中j值大小,可以用来判断电对中氧化型物质的氧化能力和还原型物质还原能力的相对强弱: j值越大,表示标准态时该电对中氧化型物质氧化能力越强;或者共轭的还原型物质还原能力越弱。相反, j值越小,表明还原型物质还原能力强,其共轭的氧化型物质氧化能力越弱。
j值的大小是衡量氧化剂或还原剂氧化、还原能力强弱的标度,与溶液的浓度、气体的压强一样,是体系的强度性质,取决于物质的本性,而和物质的多少无关,即不具有加和性。
同一物质在不同电对中,可以是氧化型,也可以是还原型。
j值是在标准态水溶液中测出或计算出的,对非水溶液、高温、固相反应均不适用。
书中和手册中标准电极电势表分为酸表和碱表,对应不同的介质。”

Proper use of the electrode potential table should be noted that:


The j value in the standard electrode potential table can be used to determine the relative strength for the oxidation capacity of the oxidized material to the reduced ability of the restore material in CLP: greater j value means that in the standard state, the oxidation capacity of the oxidized material is stronger in CLP; or conjugated reduced capacity of the restore material is weaker. On the contrary, smaller j value indicates that the reduced ability of restore material is stronger, or conjugated oxidation capacity of oxidized material is weaker.

J value is a measure to evaluate ability of oxidation for oxidizing matter, or reduction capacity of restore matter, as the density for solution concentration, and pressure for gas, which is a intensity property of the system, depending on the nature of the material, while the number of the matter is unrelated, i.e., non-adding. The same matter in the CLP can be oxidizing or restoring.

j value is measured or calculated in the standard-state solution, which is not applicable for non-aqueous, high temperature, solid-state reaction.

Standard electrode potential is divided into acid table and alkali table in books and manuals, corresponding to the different media.

the larger value for j shows that the oxidating ability of oxidant in the standard eletrode pair is stronger or the  reducting ability of reductant weaker.on the contrary,the situation is  rightly opposite to the above

the j value is the measurement for weighing the strength of the oxidant's oxidating ability or the reductant's reducting ability,which is the intensity property as the concentration of solution and the intensity pressure of air,depending on the nature of material and having on correlation with the quantity of material,that is to say,it have no additivity.the same material in different electricity pairs can be  oxidative and reductive.

The J value is detected and caculated  in the standard aqueous solution,which is not appliciable for the reactions under the conditions such as non-aqueous,high temperature and soild phase and etc.
the standard electrode potential table in book and manual consists of acid table and base table corresponding to the various medium.
