磁性测量原始数据的处理方法: Please first check the *.ac.dat file containing both M-T and M-H data. You will find the sample mass and film mass in mg. The data list includes columns of Field in Oe, Temperature in K, and Long Moment in emu (in fact emuG (or emuOe)) measured for the sample, etc.. Please reduce the data as following: (1) You need to do diamagnetic correction for the film and capsule used for holding sample, this is diamagnetic background, bg: (Field in Oe),(film mass in mg)+1.81*10E-8)bg = -6.47*10E-10 its sign is minus and unit of emuG. The first one is for film and the second one for capsule, bg is temperature independent for film and capsule. 本底与使用的胶囊有关系,每台仪器不同,这里只是一个例子,通常很小,有时候可以忽略。 (2) Then the measured moment, m = Long Moment - bg. If you have the diamagnetic susceptibility from Pascal constants for the sample, xD, (you can estimate it as xD=-0.4*Fw*10E-6 emu/mol, but better use Pascal constants, its sign is also negative), You can reduce the data to mole susceptibility xM (for M-T) and mole magnetization M (for M-H): xM=[(Long Moment - bg)*Fw/(sample mass in g)/Field] - xD, in emu/mol, and M=[(Long Moment - bg)*Fw/(sample mass in g)] - xD*Field, in emuG/mol. M/5585 is the NB unit for mole magnetization. (3) If you find some data points deviated form the main data curve, this is because some wrong measurements occurs sometimes – each data point usually has two or more measurements – if one of then is measured wrong then the data will be wrong and have large e.s.d. (in column of Long Scan Std Dev). In this case, please check the *.ac.diag file to find correct measurement (data in the curve) and add it to your data list. If no correct measurement data, you can chose deleting the bad data point, or assigning it to the average of the two adjacent data points. That is all. |
