| The three ring hydrocarbon Veratrum, a third generation super-molecular substances, has a unique C3 symmetry structure and rigid electron-rich cavity. It can be synthesized with various functional groups with varying cavity size of the various derivatives, and is an important material in molecular recognition. The detection and separation indicate the imporant perspective as receptor compounds, which have attracted a great deal of attention. The current article highlights the progress in three ring Veratrum hydrocarbons and derivatives. |
