【讨论】审稿人意见关于entropic loss

小弟我是在用高斯算反应机理，第一篇文章的第二个审稿人提出了下面一条意见： The computational details section does not describe how the free energies were obtained. In a reaction where reactants are added successively from the gas phase, it is important to include the entropic loss from binding the monomers. It is not obvious from the figures etc. It is not obvious that this has been done. 想知道entropic loss 也就是熵减是什么意思，这里是指由于反应物本来是无规则分布，反应配位连接到催化剂活性中心是一个有混乱到有序的过程所以熵会变化吗，还是什么意思？请大家批评指正！祝各位新年快乐! |
