投稿被拒却未给评审意见，请各位大侠解读！

以下是邮件全文，请各位大侠指点。由于第一次投稿SCI期刊，所以很紧张，苦等了四个月，太伤士气了。被拒到不可怕，最主要的是没给评审意见，是不是文章很烂，都不忍心说了，信心严重短缺中。。。 I am sorry that I cannot provide you with a more favourable information. 这句话有什么深意吗？还是一般的套话？是不是文章很烂，都不忍心说了？ Dear ***, I am writing to you with regard to your manuscript # ***entitled "***" which you submitted to Wood Science and Technology. Your manuscript has been reviewed. Unfortunately, the referees do not recommend publication of your article in our journal.
