The Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters (JPCL) is a new journal published by the American Chemical Society. It was designed to complement the Journal of Physical Chemistry. JPCL concentrates in one publication the most critical research results across all areas of physical chemistry.

The editor of the journal is George C. Schatz of Northwestern University and Deputy Ediror is Prof. Prashant V. Kamat of University of Notre Dame. The Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters will cover the following topic areas:
