It has around 5800 Da weight and sold in Aldrich as Poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(propylene glycol)-block-poly(ethylene glycol) (PEO-PPO0-PEO). Its behavior is similar to that of hydrocarbon surfactants, and will form micelles when placed in a selective solvent such as water.
