松香的羧基与菲环上的碳原子相连,三环菲结构对羧基有一定的空间位阻,但在一定条件下仍能参加反应制备杂环化合物。利用松香的羧基反应成环主要是通过亲电加成、缩合、取代等一系列反应得到相应的杂环化合物。松香树脂酸的菲环经过一系列改性也能得到许多杂环化合物。目前,对松香羧基、菲环共改性的研究发现:
成环的主要特征是羧基与菲环形成内酯。

Carboxyl group with the Philippines rosin ring carbon atoms is connected to triple-ring structure on the carboxyl Philippines with steric hindrance.  Under certain conditions, it is capable of participating in preparation of heterocyclic compounds reaction. Carboxyl reaction to the application of rosin into the ring is mainly through electrophilic addition, condensation, and a series of reactions to replace the corresponding heterocyclic compounds. Rosin resin acids in the Philippines through a series of rings can also be modified by heterocyclic compounds. At present, the study finds that rings are modified. The main feature is the formation of carboxy-lactone ring with the Philippines.
