| For research purposes, a combined heat and power production unit (CHP) was built inside a freight container, which electric output was 20 kW and heat output was about 60 kW. The experience learned from the automobile was benefited in the gas burner structure. The burner works exceptionally well and the gases produced burn well in a MOPAR V8 engine and perhaps better then with gas. The finished CHP container was introduced at the Wood and Bioenergy Exhibition in Jyväskylä, September 6th- 8th 2007. It raised much interest and many exhibition guests visited the stand, including participants of the International Bioenergy Conference visited the power plant. |
