1.同为IEEE举办会议，SPONSORS By IEEE Society 和By IEEE Section 有何区别？
2.是不是关于SPONSORS By IEEE Society 在国内的很少啊？

IEEE 的 Society是国际性的。IEEE 的 Section是区域性的，有很多，国内现在有几个了。

不过，IEEE sponsorship 有很多种，从0%到100%，很多是合办的会。还有不少只是technical sponsor。。。如果只是CPS 出版文集，这些都不是，完全不能算IEEE会议！

ICIME is the main annual Information research conference in Kuala Lumpur aimed at presenting current research being carried out. Currently ICIME 2010 will be held on 16 to 18 April 2010. The idea of the conference is for the scientists, scholars, engineers and students from the Universities all around the world and the industry to present ongoing research activities, and hence to foster research relations between the Universities and the industry. ICIME 2010 is co-sponsored by IEEE Beijing Section and IACSIT, technical supported by Sichuan Computer Federation and Putra University Malaysia. The conference proceeding will proudly published by IEEE Press, and will be indexed by Ei Compendex, INSPEC and Thomson ISI (ISTP).

ICIME 2009已经被ISTP检索, ICIME2010也仍然将由IEEE COMPUTER SOCIETY CPS出版, 并被EI COMPENDEX和ISTP检索.

IEEE 的 Society关于一个研究方向的国际学会
IEEE 的 Section是区域性的组织，比如在中国就有6，7个，他们只负责本地区ieee的一些事物，学术地位比scociety差的太远了。

1， 区别很大，我们导师只准投by IEEE Societies的会议。
2， 这些SPONSORS By IEEE Society 的国际会议会周游世界，偶尔来到中国，在中国相对不多。比如 08年ICDCS，ICC, ICME来到中国， 2011年 Infocom也会来到中国。
