Abstract Conventional physics is confined to superficial observations and simply defines the universal constant c as the speed of light, which severs the intrinsic connection of physical systems. This paper puts forward the first axiom of the universe: there exist three mutually independent primordial sources of the universe, namely space, energy and the universal constant c. Space is the innate carrier of all existence, energy is the substantial ontology of all things, and the universal constant c is the fundamental law governing all operating orders of the universe. The speed of light is merely the external manifestation of constant c when free energy is in an unconstrained state. Mass and volume are secondary derivative forms formed after the condensation of energy. All interactions in the world, including gravitation, electromagnetic force and the strong force at the nuclear scale, are compensatory effects generated when the free operation of the universal constant c is confined by material structures. This paper elaborates the homologous logic of Maxwell’s electromagnetic system, mass-energy conversion, Newtonian dynamics and nuclear force, and explains the underlying root of the three fundamental forces uniformly complying with the inverse-square law combined with the geometric characteristic of spherical radiation in three-dimensional space. A complete underlying framework of cosmic sources is established to realize the unification of fundamental physical laws. Keywords Triadic primordial source of the universe; space; energy; universal constant c; first principle; Maxwell’s equations; mass-energy relation; fundamental interactions; strong force; electromagnetic force; gravitation; unified field theory; inverse-square law 1 Introduction An ancient Greek proposition states that man is the measure of all things. Human beings formulate artificial measurement units such as length, time and mass based on sensory perception, forming a cognitive system limited to phenomena. For hundreds of years, modern physics has adopted an analytical research approach to interpret various physical phenomena separately, and has never achieved genuine grand unification. The core reason lies in the failure to recognize the supreme triadic primordial structure of the universe. The three major sources exist eternally without precedence. Space serves as the container, energy constitutes the substance, and the universal constant c acts as the eternal natural law. Pure free energy diffuses in space without any restraint and presents the form of light, perfectly embodying the inherent order of constant c. It is not light that defines constant c, but constant c that governs the evolution of all energy and matter. All physical laws of the universe are built upon the triadic sources of space, energy and the universal constant c. |
