Abstract The standard cosmological model uniformly attributes the spectral redshift of extragalactic celestial objects to cosmic space expansion and the early evolution of the universe. It adopts a single dynamic mechanism to interpret full-domain spectral shift phenomena, yet fails to fully match layered observational facts including blueshift in nearby regions, zero spectral shift at medium distances, and universal redshift for faraway celestial bodies, which brings inherent theoretical flaws. Based on an original physical framework featuring independently circulating local spatial blocks, nebula collapse and contraction, and unidirectional energy attenuation of photons during long-distance propagation, this paper establishes a three-layer superposition model for redshift and blueshift. This paper proposes that the universe has no global origin or unified early and late evolutionary stages. Countless independent spatial blocks continuously iterate an infinite closed-loop evolution process: nebula diffusion – matter collapse – galaxy formation – high-energy jet – regenerated nebula. Spectral shifts of celestial bodies are formed by the superposition of two core mechanisms: First, the universal fundamental redshift arising from the unidirectional energy loss of photons traveling across interstellar space. From general physical logic, any unidirectional energy dissipation during the long-distance propagation of light in cosmic space will stretch wavelengths and shift spectra toward the red end, and this deduction is logically self-consistent. This effect only generates energy attenuation without reverse energy gain. Second, dynamic Doppler shift produced by the contraction of galactic nebulae, which may manifest as redshift, blueshift or zero shift. The superposition of the two mechanisms naturally forms three categories of observational characteristics: blueshift dominates nearby regions, red and blue shifts counterbalance at medium distances, and redshift prevails at far distances, which is perfectly consistent with astronomical measurement data. Abandoning traditional paradigms such as space expansion and the Big Bang, this model provides a self-consistent explanation for spectral shift phenomena of celestial bodies from the perspective of local celestial evolution and the physical nature of photon propagation, and remedies the loopholes in observational adaptation existing in standard cosmology. Keywords spectral shift; superposition of redshift and blueshift; unidirectional energy attenuation of photons; galactic contraction; cyclic cosmic model Introduction Since Hubble discovered the universal redshift law of extragalactic galaxies, the mainstream paradigm of cosmology has always interpreted galactic redshift with the space expansion hypothesis. A complete theoretical system covering the Big Bang, temporal evolution of the universe and cosmic age deduction has been constructed on this basis, becoming the core foundation of modern cosmology. Years of astronomical observations confirm that cosmic spectral shifts do not follow a single rule, but present distinct layered features: nearby galaxies generally exhibit observable blueshift, celestial bodies at medium distances show balanced spectral shifts without obvious red or blue deviation, while all large-scale distant galaxies display redshift with no detectable blueshift signals. The traditional expanding universe model can only vaguely attribute spectral deviation to space stretching and galactic recession. It cannot physically explain the core observational phenomenon that blueshift gradually decays and eventually disappears completely with the increase of propagation distance, nor can it reasonably account for the balanced zero-shift state of medium-distance celestial bodies. Meanwhile, mainstream theory defines high redshift values of distant galaxies as "relics of early cosmic evolution", presupposing a globally unified temporal origin and evolutionary phase of the universe. This preset lacks physical support from local celestial evolution and forms defects in logical closed loops. Over the past century, scholars have successively put forward static cosmic hypotheses based on photon energy attenuation to explain redshift without relying on space expansion. However, most traditional models adopt hard-particle collision scattering mechanisms, which lead to observational contradictions such as blurred galaxy images and mismatched supernova light curve timescales, and have never been recognized by the mainstream. The theoretical system constructed in this paper only retains the general physical deduction that light loses energy unidirectionally and continuously generates redshift during long-distance travel, without presetting or introducing any specific microscopic interaction mechanisms, thus avoiding the observational loopholes of classical tired light models. Combined with the natural contraction law of local galactic nebulae, a three-layer spectral shift system superimposed by dual mechanisms is established. This paper relies on the core setting of an infinite locally cyclic universe: the universe as a whole has no origin, no evolutionary end point and no unified time sequence. All celestial evolutionary activities only occur within independent spatial blocks, and the evolutionary progress of each block is mutually independent without interference. The core preliminary logic can be summarized as follows: any unidirectional energy loss process of light during interstellar long-distance propagation will inevitably produce persistent redshift. By decomposing the superposition relationship between inherent shifts from photon propagation and dynamic motion shifts of galaxies, this paper systematically expounds the layered law of full-domain spectral shifts, and reconstructs a brand-new cosmic interpretation framework independent of space expansion and Big Bang theory. |
