Abstract Traditional particle physics and cosmology cannot explain fundamentally why there is no stable macroscopic antimatter in the observable universe. Existing theories only describe the asymmetry between matter and antimatter superficially and lack a self-consistent evolutionary logic. This paper proposes a cosmic game evolution hypothesis of matter and antimatter, based on matter annihilation and transformation, particle survival of the fittest, and iterative evolution of cosmic regions. This study concludes that the observable universe we inhabit is a world dominated by ordinary matter after the early game between matter and antimatter. Annihilation only eliminates substantial matter rather than energy, and all annihilated matter is fully converted into photon energy and radiant energy. In the context of an infinite universe, it is possible that remote cosmic regions are dominated by independent antimatter, and the possibility that the entire universe is dominated by ordinary matter is also reserved. Once macroscopic worlds of matter and antimatter come into contact, all substantial matter will be completely annihilated into light energy. As the energy cools, new pairs of matter and antimatter particles will be generated, starting a new round of matter game and reconstruction of cosmic regional patterns. This theory fundamentally explains why only transient antiparticles rather than stable antimatter celestial bodies exist in our region, and corrects cognitive biases in conventional antimatter research. Keywords antimatter; matter game; particle annihilation; mass-energy transformation; cosmic evolution; cosmic region pattern Introduction Modern high-energy physical experiments and astronomical observations confirm that microscopic antiparticles such as positrons and antiprotons can be momentarily produced by cosmic rays, high-energy jets of celestial bodies and particle collisions. However, stable antimatter atoms, antimatter celestial bodies and antimatter galaxies have never been observed. The absence of macroscopic antimatter systems has long been a fundamental problem that cannot be reasonably interpreted by contemporary physics. The mainstream Standard Model and quantum mechanics only provide superficial explanations from the perspective of microscopic symmetry breaking, and fail to answer three core fundamental questions: First, why stable macroscopic antimatter does not exist across the Earth and the Milky Way; Second, the actual distribution pattern and existence possibility of antimatter in the infinite universe; Third, the real evolutionary process and iteration mechanism when matter and antimatter systems encounter each other. At present, there is a common cognitive bias in academic circles. Researchers keep searching for stable antimatter and exploring the utilization of antimatter energy in regions dominated by ordinary matter, ignoring that the distribution of cosmic matter results from particle game, screening and survival of the fittest. In view of the above problems, this paper breaks away from the traditional theoretical framework, constructs an evolution system of matter-antimatter game based on real mass-energy transformation rules, and clearly illustrates the existence boundary, transient characteristics, cosmic distribution and iteration rules of antimatter. |
