Abstract In modern physics, researchers often trace back in isolation and question why the universe gave rise to fundamental elements such as electrons, protons, neutrons and positive-negative charges. Based on three research achievements including the confined photon particle model, the structural value of neutrons in atomic nuclei, and the mechanism of charge and atomic stability, this paper adopts a new research perspective. Instead of focusing on the origin of these fundamental elements, it demonstrates conversely based on the existing material world that the system composed of protons, electrons, neutrons and positive-negative charges is an essential prerequisite for the stable existence of microscopic particles, the construction of atomic structures, and the evolution of macroscopic matter and diverse universe. If the universe only contained photons, a pure form of energy, tangible matter could not be formed, leaving no room for celestial bodies, complex substances or any other cosmic evolutionary forms. To question the origin of fundamental particles in reverse while ignoring the logic of real material existence is to put the cart before the horse. This paper integrates the core conclusions of the three previous studies and expounds the objective inevitability of this complete set of fundamental particles and interaction mechanisms. Keywords: Confined photon; Positive and negative charge; Neutron; Atomic stability; Material evolution; Inevitability of existence 1. Introduction In the field of fundamental physics, some scholars tend to trace the initial state of the universe and keep exploring questions such as why electrons, protons and neutrons first emerged in the universe and how charges came into being. Such inquiries break away from the complete logical chain of material evolution and overlook a core fact: the diverse world, various celestial bodies, material forms and energy cycles we observe all rely on this set of fundamental particles and interaction mechanisms. The core conclusions of the three previous specialized studies are summarized as follows. Physical particles are essentially systems of high-energy photons under confinement. The confined photon model can uniformly explain electron spin and the release of nuclear energy. Neutrons act as a core medium to eliminate electrostatic repulsion inside atomic nuclei and construct stable multi-nucleon atomic nuclei. Positive and negative charges bind extranuclear electrons, maintain the overall stability of atoms, and resolve the instability of isolated microscopic particles. Combining these findings, it is clear that electrons, protons, neutrons and positive-negative charges are not accidental products of the universe. Instead, they are an inevitable outcome of the transformation of matter from pure energy to tangible substances and the aggregation of scattered particles into complex systems. The collapse of any single link will lead to the breakdown of the present material world. Therefore, it is meaningless to question the origin of fundamental particles in isolation while disregarding the existing material system. |
