（University of Alberta）Electrical and Computer Engineering学院Prof. The positions generally involve both theoretical and applied research in electromagnetics and wireless communications. Research projects span a broad range of emerging areas, with particular emphasis on developing high-performance models, algorithms, and intelligent solutions for 5G/6G/THz wireless communications, intelligent transportation (air, ground, and underground), underwater communications, Internet of Things (IoT), biomedical sensing, and healthcare applications. Successful candidates are expected to conduct research primarily, but not exclusively, in the following areas: (1) Wireless Channel Modeling & Digital Twins Wireless channel modeling and optimization of sensor networks in cyber-physical systems; site-specific learning; digital-twin-enabled wireless intelligence. (2) Radio Wave Propagation, Sensing & Communications Radio wave propagation in indoor, urban, terrestrial, aerial, underground, and body-centric environments; integrated sensing and communications (ISAC); near-field communications and sensing; localization. (3) Computational Electromagnetics & Multiphysics Modeling High-performance computational electromagnetics; multiphysics and multiscale modeling for electromagnetic, micro-/nano-electronic, and biomedical applications. (4) Antennas, RF/Microwave/Millimeter-wave, EMC/EMI Antenna and RF/microwave/millimeter-wave design and measurement; reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS); electromagnetic compatibility and interference (EMC/EMI). (5) AI/ML for Wireless & Electromagnetic Systems Machine learning and parametric modeling; physics-informed neural networks; hybrid physics-AI modeling; AI agents for wireless and electromagnetic systems; stochastic modeling and uncertainty quantification.
