Openings for Postgraduate Students: Machine Learning and AI-aided Drug Design The University of Hong Kong, Prof. Chi-Ming Che group, is recruiting postgraduate students to work on research projects in machine learning and AI-aided drug design. Entry: Spring 2027. Selected candidates will engage in collaborative research with experts in drug discovery. They will have the chance to design and evaluate innovative algorithms, and gain hands-on experience in real-world drug development projects and clinical translational applications. The advisors possess years of R&D experience spanning both academia and the pharmaceutical industry. Students will explore cutting-edge challenges in AI-driven drug discovery and acquire solid project-based research experience, which will benefit their future career development. Qualifications - Strong interest in applying machine learning and AI algorithms to solve practical problems, with a particular passion for customizing models and algorithms for drug discovery applications - **Programming proficiency is mandatory.
