12、The Great Cosmic Cycle Theory

Abstract This paper proposes a complete theoretical system of the Great Cosmic Cycle. The universe is an infinite, boundless, eternal existence with no beginning and no end, rejecting the singularity Big Bang model. The fundamental law of the universe is the eternal interconversion between energy state and matter state. The strong force and electromagnetic force are responsible for constructing matter, while universal gravitation is responsible for decomposing matter and returning it to energy. A star evolves and collapses into a white dwarf, a neutron star, and finally a black hole. As the only celestial body in the universe that can completely reduce matter to pure energy, a black hole is the core node of the cycle. An ordinary black hole evolves from a neutron star, and a supermassive black hole is a high-energy photon soup at the core of a galactic vortex. A black hole appears dark not because gravity traps light, but because it emits no visible light or converts visible light into high-energy invisible light. Gravity only binds matter with rest mass, not photons and energy. Black holes release energy through polar jets, which cool and condense into nebulae, stars, and planets again, forming an endless closed-loop of mass-energy cycle. This theory requires no unproven assumptions such as singularities, dark matter, or spacetime curvature. It is self-consistent, logically complete, and consistent with basic physics and astronomical observations. Core Foundation of the Great Cosmic Cycle: The Essence of the Universe and the Underlying Logic of the Cycle The universe is an infinitely large, boundless, eternal existence with no beginning, no end, and no absolute time. There is no single cosmic origin of the "singularity Big Bang" in traditional theories. Expansion, contraction, violent explosions, and energy eruptions in local regions of the universe are only normal internal motions of the universe, not the birth or end of the entire universe. Time is not a fundamental property of the universe; it is only a measuring tool created by humans to describe the laws of material motion, evolution, and change. For the universe as a whole, there is no division of past, present, and future, only eternal existence and motion. The fundamental law governing the operation of the universe is the eternal interconversion between matter state and energy state. This mass-energy conversion process never stops and repeats endlessly, forming the core logic of the Great Cosmic Cycle. All existences in the universe are ultimately divided into only two basic states: matter state and energy state, with no third independent form. Their interconversion is an objective fact confirmed by experiments and cosmic observations: nuclear fission, nuclear fusion, and stellar luminescence are the conversion from matter state to energy state, while black hole jets and nebula formation are the conversion from energy state to matter state. This law runs through the whole process of cosmic evolution and is the underlying basis for the birth and death of all celestial bodies. The two core forces driving the Great Cosmic Cycle are not externally applied forces, but inherent properties naturally possessed by all massive matter. They perform their respective duties, one constructing and one destroying, one contracting and one releasing, forming a perfect power closed loop supporting the cosmic cycle, dominating all evolution from microscopic particles to macroscopic celestial bodies, without any additional fictional forces involved. 1) Strong Force + Electromagnetic Force (Co-constructing Matter) Strong Force: As the strongest force in the universe at the microscopic scale, its scope of action is limited to the interior of atomic nuclei, and it is the core creative force for converting energy state into matter state. Its core mission is to firmly confine and condense the diffuse and free pure energy flows in the universe, first converting energy state into quarks, then further aggregating quarks into protons, neutrons and other elementary particles, and finally building the microscopic foundation of matter, becoming the core driving force for the formation of the material world. Without the condensation effect of the strong force, energy would only exist in a diffuse state forever, unable to form elementary particles, let alone atoms, celestial bodies and other material worlds, and the universe would only be a chaos of pure energy. Electromagnetic Force: Cooperating with the strong force, it is responsible for combining atomic nuclei with electrons to form stable atoms, molecules and macroscopic material structures, and is the key support for the stable existence, non-collapse and non-disintegration of the material world. The strong force and electromagnetic force must act simultaneously to completely construct the material world. 2) Universal Gravitation As a basic force existing at all scales, from microscopic protons, neutrons, electrons to macroscopic planets, stars, galaxies and black holes, all matter with mass will definitely produce gravity, which is the core returning force for matter state to return to energy state. Gravity is extremely weak at the microscopic particle level, far weaker than the strong force, weak force and electromagnetic force, so it can be ignored. However, at the macroscopic celestial level, gravity continuously accumulates and intensifies with the aggregation of matter, becoming the strongest force dominating the structure and evolution of cosmic celestial bodies. Its core mission is to continuously gather and compress matter in the universe, evolve matter into a high-density, high-gravity state through continuous collapse and pressurization, and finally become the only ultimate force that can completely tear apart material structures and return matter to energy state entirely.  |
