项目课题:液滴撞击可变性多孔介质的孔隙尺度直接数值模拟 direct numerical simulation of droplet impact on deformable porous media at pore scale 项目编号:sfxjtu2512 三校导师简介 Dr Konstantinos Papadikis is a professor in fluid dynamics with a phd from aston university. he has held leadership roles at xjtlu including head of civil engineering and dean of the design school. his research focuses on computational fluid dynamics and multiphase flow. dr. davide dapelo completed his phd in civil engineering in 2016 and has held postdoctoral and lectureship roles in the uk. his expertise includes lattice-boltzmann method, non-newtonian flows, and ai-enhanced cfd. dr. linlin fei is a faculty member at xi’an jiaotong university with research experience at eth zurich and tsinghua. he specializes in multiphase flow, phase-change heat transfer, and mesoscopic modeling in porous media, with significant publications and citations. konstantinos papadikis 是流体动力学教授,拥有英国阿斯顿大学博士学位。他在西交利物浦大学曾担任土木工程系主任及设计学院院长等领导职务。他的研究专注于计算流体动力学和多相流。 dr. davide dapelo 于2016年获得土木工程博士学位,此后在英国多所高校担任博士后研究员和讲师职位。他的专业领域包括格子玻尔兹曼方法、非牛顿流体力学以及人工智能增强的计算流体动力学。 dr. linlin fei (费林林) 是西安交通大学研究员,拥有苏黎世联邦理工学院和清华大学的研究经历。他专注于多相流、相变传热与传质以及多孔介质的介观尺度建模,并发表了多篇高引用率的学术论文。 key aspect/summary of research project项目简介 this project investigates droplet impact on deformable porous media using a novel coupled lattice boltzmann (lbm) and discrete element method (dem) framework. it aims to reveal how pore-scale geometry and mechanical properties affect outcomes like spreading, penetration, and substrate deformation. the integrated model captures fluid-structure interactions, enabling high-fidelity simulation of processes such as droplet breakup and capillary invasion. key parameters include impact velocity, wettability, and material properties. outcomes will provide predictive insights for designing tunable porous materials in agriculture and industry. 本项目采用格子玻尔兹曼方法与离散元耦合框架,研究液滴撞击可变形多孔介质的行为。重点揭示孔隙尺度几何与力学特性对液滴铺展、渗透、回弹及基质变形的影响。该耦合模型能精确捕捉流固相互作用,模拟液滴破裂、毛细侵入等瞬态过程。关键参数包括撞击速度、润湿性及介质力学特性。研究成果将为农业灌溉、工业过滤等应用中的可调控多孔材料设计提供理论依据。 other preferred qualification and skill set of the candidate 对项目候选人的其他学术背景及技能要求 background in fluid mechanics, computational modeling, or porous media; experience with lbm/dem/cfd is preferred. 具备流体力学、计算建模或多孔介质背景;熟悉lbm、dem或cfd者优先。 参加联合培养博士项目的学生将同时在西交利物浦大学(xjtlu)和利物浦大学(uol)注册。顺利完成该项目后,学生将被授予利物浦大学的博士学位。 在西交利物浦大学攻读博士学位期间,学生需以访问学生身份在西安交通大学(xjtu)开展研究工作。此外,学生还有机会申请为期三至六个月的利物浦大学研究访问。该职位面向所有符合资格的候选人开放,不限国籍。 doctoral students in the joint programme are registered with both xjtlu and the uol. upon successful completion of the programme, the students will be awarded a phd degree from university of liverpool. during their doctoral studies at xjtlu, students are expected to conduct research at xjtu as visiting students. additionally, students have the opportunity to apply for a three to six-month research visit to uol. this position is open to all qualified candidates irrespective of nationality. 有意者请将个人简历及其他有助于申请的材料发送至konstantinos.papadikis@xjtlu.edu.cn 注: 不用跟帖,直接发邮件就行,主题请注明博士申请。 |
