We are recruiting 1 MS or PhD student for Spring 2027 in the School of Chemical Engineering at Oklahoma State University in the fields of nanomaterials, heterogeneous catalysis, and sustainable energy/chemical processes. If you are interested in working at the cutting edge of nanomaterials and catalysis research to solve one of the grand challenges for sustainable future, then you should apply to work in our group. The MS or PhD student position will be offered a research assistantship (RA) or teaching assistantship (TA) including tuition waiver and stipend. The successful candidate will: • Conduct independent research in the areas of: 1) synthesis of novel nanomaterials, 2) materials characterization, and 3) reaction and environmental applications. • Focus on creativity, teamwork/collaboration, patience, and effective oral and written communication development. • Present and report research results in high-impact peer reviewed journals, conferences, and project reviews. Qualifications: • Meet the admission requirements of the Graduate Program in the School of Chemical Engineering at Oklahoma State University: GPA with ≥ 3.0/4.0; GRE general test scores with minimum quantitative reasoning score of 160/170 and verbal reasoning score of 150/170; and TOEFL with minimum score of 79 (or IELTS with minimum score of 6.5). • BS/MS in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or other related engineering/science disciplines • Strong motivation, great enthusiasm, and commitment to research excellence • Laboratory-based research experience in nanomaterials synthesis/characterization and heterogeneous catalysis is preferred.
