[UCLA] PhD and Postdoctoral Researcher Opportunities | Ximin He Group

The Ximin He Research Group at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) is seeking a highly motivated PhD and Postdoctoral Researcher to join our interdisciplinary research team working at the interface of soft materials, polymer assembly and process, and functional devices. Relevant backgrounds and expertise may include: • Background: Polymer chemistry and physics, electrochemistry, and soft material mechanics • Material systems: Hydrogels, liquid crystal elastomers, conducting polymers, biopolymers, and other functional soft materials • Application areas: Bio-tissue mimics/implants, bioelectronics, batteries and energy storage, and soft robotics We are particularly interested in candidates with strong backgrounds and hands-on research experience in polymer science, soft materials, polymer assembly, synthesis and processing, and soft material mechanics.
