Reviewer #1: I cannot recommend publication of this MS. I have the following concerns: - the choice of chromophores goes back to the 90's, when lots of papers regarding the design of NLO chromophores were published by numerous groups. Although authors used a reference, I cannot really discover the benefit for the use of particular these compounds? Where is the "world record" of these compounds? Is the increase just an increase or is this the maximum? Again, my impression is that the results obtained are not exciting. There is no new structural concept. It is just an add of that what has been almost known and would help to fill table books. |
