Nevertheless, I believe that the topic is of interest to the readership of Carbon. If the authors substantially revise the manuscript by strengthening the critical analysis, incorporating quantitative benchmarking of reported studies, and providing a more comprehensive perspective on future research directions, a new submission may be considered.

Therefore, I recommend rejection of the present manuscript and encourage the authors to submit a substantially revised version as a new manuscript.
