求教文章graphics问题

这事本人的第一篇文章，投在了European Journal of Inorganic Chemistry. 编辑的回信中让我修改，提了很多问题。下面的这句话让我很费解，请大家帮忙！ “The resolution in the final data should be about 300 ppi for halftone graphics without sharp details like lines and letters, and 600 ppi for pictures containing grey parts in addition to lines and lettering.” " halftone graphics"的意思是？？？如果是用origin 做的红外数据图，曲线上标出了风的位置，这时到处的TIF文件的分辨率应是300还是600的？如果在图上添加文字就是要分辨该文600？ 还有就是这句“Please never convert or downsample vector-type graphics (all kinds of chemical formula drawings, for example ChemDraw® files) into pixel-type graphics (PC file extensions like tif, jpeg, bmp) unless you have good reasons to do so.”投稿时上传的照片应该是什么格式？ |
