Methods: A comprehensive literature review was conducted, synthesising findings from recent (2021-2026) peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings, and technical reports from leading engineering bodies. The methodology involves a descriptive, systems-based analysis of each component subsystem . Results: The analysis confirms that the integration of carbon fibre composites for the monocoque chassis and aerodynamic elements provides an unparalleled strength-to-weight ratio, directly enhancing vehicle dynamics and crashworthiness . Furthermore, the adoption of real-time electronic control systems has become critical for managing extreme performance parameters and enhancing driver safety. The forthcoming 2026 technical regulations promise a significant shift towards lighter, more agile vehicles with active aerodynamics and a greater emphasis on sustainability. Conclusion: The continuous advancement in racecar engineering is driven by a synergistic application of materials science, aerodynamic design, and electronic integration.
