The Tsuboi laboratory at Tsinghua-Shenzhen is recruiting postdoctoral researchers interested in RNA, mitochondria, or aging research. We focused on understanding how the cellular organization controls gene regulation and age-related processes such as cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. We believe our quantitative approach, combining microscopy, computational modeling, and biochemistry, will lead to the discovery of anti-aging drugs in the long run.

The base salary starts from 330,000 RMB ($50,000), and you will have more opportunities in external funding. On a side note, Tsinghua-Shenzhen, the Shenzhen government, and we very generously support incoming postdocs.

For domestic Ph.D. students, we are aware that, due to COVID-19 restrictions, many excellent students cannot move overseas for postdoctoral experience.
