Postdocs, graduate student, visiting student positions are available in the Chemical Biology Group of Dr. Han Xiao at Rice University (https://xiao.rice.edu). The focus of our research is the development of innovative chemical tools allowing us to understand complex biology system as well as develop novel therapeutic strategies. More information on the research program can be found at: https://xiao.rice.edu We are currently accepting applications for highly self-motivated postdocs, graduate student, visiting students with one of the following expertise: 1. Organic/Medicinal Chemistry We are seeking scholars with a strong background in Organic/medicinal chemistry to support this project. 2. Gene Delivery We are seeking scholars with experience in antibody–ASO conjugates or lipid nanoparticle–based gene delivery. Candidates with expertise in Antibody–ASO systems, lipid nanoparticle engineering, gene therapy, and in vivo studies are especially preferred. 3. Protein/Cell Engineering and Metabolic Engineering We are looking for scholars with experiences in protein and cell engineering to join this project. Candidates with experiences in genome editing, CRISPR-Cas system, Next-Generation Sequencing, protein engineering, and/or cell engineering are preferred. Experience with AI-driven antibody/protein engineering or machine-learning–based sequence optimization is preferred.
