PhD Student in Photonics/Optics- Singapore University of Technology and Design We are looking for PhD students to work in the area of nonlinear optics / integrated photonics / silicon photonics. Qualified candidates should have experience or interest in some of the following: Clean room fabrication and metrology (Ebeam lithography, thin film deposition, etching, SEM, AFM, etc.); Experimental characterization of photonic structures; Semiconductor materials and optical physics; Numerical modelling tools. Strong programming skills (Matlab, etc.); Good interpersonal skills. The selected candidate must be a self-starter, who is able to work independently and in a team environment.
