4 - (4’ - dimethylaminophenyl) - 2,6-dimethyl-3,5-dicarbomethoxy-1,4-dihydropyridine 30 g. p-dimethylamino-benzaldehyde, 45 cc. acetoacetic acid methyl ester, 50 cc. methanol and 21 cc. ammonia are heated at boiling temperature for 4 hours and, atter filtering off and cooling, 40 g. of pale yellow crystals 01 M.P. 194° C. are obtained. |
