悉尼科技大学全球大数据中心电磁信息实验室招聘优秀全奖博士生。实验室经费充足,提供全额奖学金并有额外补助,支持1-2次国际会议。课题组以学生为中心,学生可以选择以科研文章为主线,也可以选择以工业界项目为主线。课题组平台优势明显,各方面资源雄厚,目前,课题组毕业的学生,90%都有海外或者澳洲本地博士后工作的机会。 虽然课题组经费充足,导师团队每年只招三位博士。这样是为了保证每位博士都能得到充分的指导。 有意向者请发送邮件至 Peiyuan.qin@uts.edu.au; or Shulin.Chen@uts.edu.au The Global Big Data Technologies Centre (GBDTC) at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia, is an internationally leading multi-disciplinary research centre. The Electromagnetic Informatics Lab (EIL) in GBDTC leads the world in research and development across a wide range of antenna and radio frequency (RF) capabilities. It has a number of prominent professors including four IEEE Fellows and two Fellows of the Australian Academy of Engineering. The researchers in EIL have a proven track record in scientific and engineering breakthroughs, winning a number of most prestigious awards. EIL has established well-equipped laboratories including a compact range anechoic chamber up to 90 GHz, 800Mz to 50 GHz far-field anechoic chamber, and mm-wave and THz testing facilities. EIL currently is recruiting Three PhD students (full scholarship by UTS) including but not limited to: 1) Antennas and Metasurfaces; 2) Electromagnetics and Circuits; 3) Machine Learning and Array Optimisation. The Full Scholarship Stipend covers: a tax-free annual stipend of AUD $39,000/year (about RMB ¥190,000/year), plus a full tuition fee waiver; Students with exceptional performance may receive further top ups up to $5000 per year. PhD students in EIL will be supported to participate 1-2 international conferences. All excellent undergraduate students and postgraduate students are prospective for this full-scholarship PhD program. Successful students will be able to work with supervisors at the forefront of antenna/mm-wave technologies, and wireless communications and sensing systems, and to publish cutting-edge research findings in leading scientific journals and top international conferences. Further, it is expected that highly performing students will have the opportunity to become postdoctoral fellows after completing their PhDs. The selection criteria for the full-scholarship PhD program is listed as follows: 1) Students with strong publications and/or in top 15% of students in their schools. 2) English: IELTS >6.5 (writing band >6); TOFEL 60-78, writing > 21 (Internet based). 3) Bachelor degree in electronic engineering or related, having a good knowledge of Electromagnetic Fields and Microwave Technologies. 4) Highly self-motivated and strong interests in research.
