导师介绍

Law, Ga-Lai,香港理工大学应用生物及化学科技学系,Wong Ying Ying Professor in Lanthanide Chemistry。于英国曼彻斯特大学获得硕士学位,香港大学获得博士学位,并在英国杜伦大学及加州大学伯克利分校从事过博士后研究。并于2011年进入香港理工大学应用生物及化学科技学系独立开展科研工作,已经在在nature commun、nature biomedical engineering、pnas、jacs、angew、chem sci、chem commun等国际知名杂志发表90余篇学术论文。orcid id: 0000-0002-2192-6887。

(1) 生物有机化学
(2) 稀土金属发光材料,超分子化学

薪资:
>香港平均水平 (有竞争力的薪资,可以根据科研经历详谈)

要求:
(1) 应聘者应具有较高的有机或无机配合物合成水平,对论文情况不作硬性要求;
(2) 应聘者的英语水平及口语交流能力较强,主要是为方便跟罗老师交流或入学需求(香港理工转博要求英语成绩);
(3) 应聘者都应提供英文简历(罗老师是英国国籍,不擅长汉语),而且应有工作总结。

课题组情况:
(1) 罗老师对待科学问题比较严格,但是对于实验室工作安排相对比较宽松。周一至周五为工作日,周六、周末自由安排。节假日自由安排,香港的假日多,所以在课题组工作,压力相对较少;
(2) 课题组研究内容比较前沿,文章产出情况比较优异,近些年在一些top期刊发表多篇优质论文;
(3) 对于希望在香港求学科研的学生,可以来课题组内先做ra进行相关的课题研究。
