•        单晶生长,材料物理
•        多铁材料,固态电池
•        超导材料,纳米材料

先进设备:

Professor Haifeng Li from IAPME, University of Macau, is recruiting PhD students year-round.

The Institute of Applied Physics and Materials Engineering (IAPME) at the University of Macau (UM) is always recruiting fully-funded Ph.D. students with backgrounds in condensed matter physics, materials science, and related fields under the supervision of Professor Hai-Feng Li.

There is no royal road to wisdom, nor a definitive end to scientific research; only an ever-ascending mindset characterized by utmost fortitude.
Are you looking to pursue a doctoral degree in a cutting-edge research environment? The research group led by Professor Hai-Feng Li at the Institute of Applied Physics and Materials Engineering, University of Macau, is now accepting applications for fully-funded Ph.D. positions. We offer state-of-the-art research facilities, global academic connections, and a rich international learning environment to cast your passport to a successful academic or industrial career.

Research areas:
•        Single crystal growth, materials physics
•        Multiferroic materials, solid-state batteries
•        Superconducting materials, nanomaterials
•        Neutron and X-ray scattering techniques

Advanced equipment:
Benefiting from a wide range of equipment, including a floating zone single crystal growth furnace, PPMS DynaCool, vacuum sealing systems, high-pressure reactors, PVT single crystal growth apparatus, MPCVD, ARC furnace, XRD, Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and more.

•        Full scholarships and stipends (approximately RMB 11,000 per month)
•        Access to world-class neutron and synchrotron radiation facilities (located in Japan, Germany, France, Australia, the United States, etc.)

•        Options for joint Ph.D. programs with Dongguan Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory, Southern University of Science and Technology, and Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology
•        Fast-track admission: fresh graduates with recommended exemption qualifications from their undergraduate institutions can be admitted early (without occupying the recommended exemption quota of their undergraduate institutions)

Application requirements:
•        Bachelor's or Master's degree in condensed matter physics, materials science, or related fields
•        Preference given to candidates with research experience in crystallography or magnetism
•        Strong English communication skills
•        A keen interest in scientific research and innovative thinking
