项目负责人:Amin Paykani(a.paykani@qmul.ac.uk)是伦敦玛丽女王大学工程与材料科学学院(SEMS)可持续推进系统高级讲师。他隶属于智能交通中心,并担任该中心的研究负责人,负责中心的研究活动。Amin的研究重点是推进能量转换系统的建模和优化,将机器学习(ML)与基础物理学相结合,以应对减排和可持续发展方面的关键挑战。这种跨学科方法涵盖了燃烧建模和电动推进热管理等多个领域,具有重要的社会、工业和环境影响。他在伦敦玛丽女王大学 (QMUL) 创建了电机热管理实验室 (EMTML),该实验室专门从事电动推进冷却技术的实验和计算研究。他曾作为首席研究员获得英国工程与物理科学研究委员会 (EPSRC)、英国皇家学会和利弗休姆信托基金的多项研究资助。他已发表60余篇同行评审期刊论文。

PI: Amin Paykani (a.paykani@qmul.ac.uk)is a Senior Lecturer in Sustainable Propulsion Systems in School of Engineering and Material Sciences (SEMS) at QMUL. He is affiliated with the Centre for Intelligent Transport, where he also acts as the Research Lead, overseeing the Centre’s research activities. Amin’s research focuses on advancing modelling and optimisation of energy conversion systems, integrating machine learning (ML) with fundamental physics to address critical challenges in emissions reduction and sustainability. This interdisciplinary approach spans diverse areas such as combustion modelling and thermal management of electrified propulsion, creating meaningful societal, industrial, and environmental impact. He has founded the Electric Machines Thermal Management Lab (EMTML) at QMUL, a dedicated facility for experimental and computational research on cooling technologies for electrified propulsion. He has secured several research grants as PI from EPSRC, Royal Society and Leverhulme Trust. He has authored >60 peer-reviewed journal papers.
