¼ÓÄôóÂüÄáÍаʹóѧ£¬»úе¹¤³ÌѧԺ Dr. Xihui Liang's research spans mechanical-system dynamics, reliability engineering and maintenance, and advanced condition monitoring of machines and structures. His expertise includes signal processing, machine learning, image processing, nonlinear dynamics, reliability engineering and predictive maintenance. He leads research on: 1. designing embedded sensing systems, including PCB and software development, for smart health-monitoring and non-destructive testing (NDT) applications; 2. condition monitoring of engineering systems such as gas-turbine engines, wind-turbine gearboxes, bearings, batteries, transformers, pumps, heat exchangers, and structural components; 3. reliability modeling and maintenance planning for complex systems, including turbine gearboxes and gas-turbine engines; 4. developing smart bearings with integrated self-sensing and self-powering capabilities; 5. robotics and control for smart manufacturing, real-time monitoring, and machining; 6. quality control and defect detection in additive manufacturing processes.
