postdoc position in USF

Postdoctoral research associate positions are available in the laboratory of Prof. Cai in the Department of Chemistry at the University of South Florida (http://chemistry.usf.edu/faculty/jcai/). Candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. degree in organic/medicinal chemistry with demonstrated experience in multi-step synthesis. Additional experience in solid-phase peptide and oligonucleotide synthesis and bioassay would be a plus. Position can start as early as Jan. 1, 2010. USF Chemistry Department is one of the fastest-growing departments in U.S. and it has extensive collaborations with cancer centers, college of medicines and institute of material sciences. Tampa is a beautiful tourism city located in central/south Florida, close to world famous beaches, Disney theme parks, and Universal Studio.
