<PhD student in Biomedical Sciences>
The laboratory of Professor Shim is seeking a highly motivated, hard-working PhD candidate to perform research in cancer and precision medicine.

The laboratory focuses on cancer research, functional study on tumor suppressor genes and drug/target discovery for precision medicine. Prof. Shim has extensive experience in cancer research and pharmacology.

The appointed student will participate in the research project of “Exploiting synthetic lethal genetic interaction for cancer precision medicine”. He/she will be given the opportunity to learn state-of-the-art techniques in cancer and biomedical sciences.

Applicants must hold a bachelor or master degree (preferred) in relevant areas of biomedical sciences.  Previous experience in cell biology, molecular biology and animal experiments will be of advantage.

<Normative PhD Study Period>

<Tuition Fee and funding support>
The current Tuition Fee Scheme is credit-based.  Successful candidates will be financially supported by various PhD funding schemes. Basic monthly stipend of MOP12,500 will be provided for a period up to 4 years, and students will have chances to increase the stipend depending on their performance.
