亚利桑那州立大学招收博士（semiconductor processing方向）

open positions: 2 phd student positions, 2026 spring/Fall we are seeking 2 phd students at arizona state university (asu) in tempe, az. these positions focuse on plasma-material interplay in extreme conditions for semiconductor applications but are not limited to this field. candidates with a strong research background in plasma physics, instrumentation, processes, or other relevant fields are highly encouraged to apply. The positions are set to begin in spring 2026, or fall 2026. this project is supported by a leading semiconductor company, applied materials. the successful candidate will have unique research opportunities to work with collaborators from universities, national laboratories, as well as applied materials. the selected candidate will be co-advised by profs. eric nian (https://labs.engineering.asu.edu/mmmp/) and wonmo kang (https://wonmokang3.wixsite.com/website). applications will be immediately reviewed until the positions are filled. interested candidates should submit a detailed cv to qiong.nian@asu.edu and wonmo.kang@asu.edu and provide detailed information regarding the listed eligibility below. 1. eligibility: a. self-motivated individuals with a degree in ece, mse, me, physics, or other relevant disciplines. b. a research background in plasma physics, instrumentation, processes, or relevant fields is encouraged but not limited. 2. support: a. full funding support for tuition and salary. b. funding for conference travel will be provided. ------------------------------ 亚利桑那州立大学（arizona state university），简称asu，成立于1885年，坐落在美国亚利桑那州州府菲尼克斯，是一所公立研究型大学。亚利桑那州立大学也是北美顶尖研究型大学联盟美国大学协会（aau）的71所成员校之一。菲尼克斯是一个宜于生活旅游工作的西部城市，也是近年来美国人口净流入人数最多的地区之一，该地区目前集聚大量的高新科技产业提供了大量学生合作实习以及就业的机会。亚利桑那州立大学也是在旧金山湾区拥有最大的校友会的几所大学之一，非常有益于学生将来就业选择。 |
