phd student recruitment ╟ prof. mindy levine’s group, ariel university (2025-2026 intake)
the research group of prof. mindy levine (department of chemistry, ariel university) is now recruiting phd students. we welcome motivated candidates with strong interest in chemistry, supramolecular chemistry, fluorescent and colorimetric sensors, and their applications in environmental and biomedical fields to apply. the working language of the group is english, and international students are warmly welcome.
research areas
• fluorescence-based detection of pollutants and toxicants (organic small molecules and fluorescent polymers)
• colorimetric detection methods for wine analysis (sulfur monitoring and grape ripening evaluation)
• cyclodextrin-promoted detection of small-molecule toxicants (solution and solid-state applications)
• fundamental studies of advanced cyclodextrin complexes (including polymers, hydrogels, and metal╟organic frameworks)
funding
• fully funded scholarships, with full tuition waiver
• phd scholarship: 5,000-6,000 nis/month, approximately $22,000-26,000 per year

• english proficiency:
o applicants who did not previously study at an academic institution where english was the official language of instruction must provide an official ielts test score with a minimum grade of 6.5.
o if the master’s degree was granted by an institution where english is the official language of instruction, please provide an official letter from that institution stating so.

补充：老师人很和气，课题组工作氛围轻松不卷，有属于自己和家庭的自由时间。学校有独立宿舍，超市就在学校边。奖学金完全足够生活，且可以攒钱。研究方向教授会讨论着进行，所以即使硕士方向不一样也没事。
