Obtained a Ph.D. in polymer physics from the University of Akron in the United States; Conducted postdoctoral research in the Erato project of the Japan Science and Technology Agency on soft interface physics. The research direction focuses on frontier structural research in polymer physics and soft matter physics. Proficient in transmission electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, and micro-nano-scale microscopic characterization. In recent years, the collaborating supervisor has conducted long-term cooperation with several world-renowned polymer physics scientists and scientists specializing in studying polymer structures using transmission electron microscopy. They have jointly published 47 papers in international renowned top journals such as Nature Comm., Macromolecules, IUCRJ, Nanoscale, and Adv. Optical Mater. Now recruiting postdoctoral researchers. Welcome students with research backgrounds in soft matter, polymers, supramolecules, colloidal particles, synthesis of nanomaterials, energy conversion (thermoelectric, piezoelectric, photovoltaic, etc.), transmission electron microscopy, and atomic force microscopy to apply to join the research group. 【Postdoctoral Recruitment】 Position Requirements: 1) Have obtained a doctoral degree within no more than 3 years, or be a recent doctoral graduate who has passed the thesis defense, with an age under 35 years old (exceptionally outstanding applicants can have their conditions relaxed to some extent); 2) Have considerable experience and have achieved excellent results in soft matter, polymers, supramolecular chemistry, colloidal particles, synthesis of nanomaterials, energy conversion (thermoelectricity, piezoelectricity, photovoltaics, etc.), transmission electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy (those with research experience in transmission electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy are preferred); 3) Comply with the regulations for postdoctoral research at South China University of Technology. Benefits and Guarantees: 1) The postdoctoral positions at the university are classified into categories I, II, and III. The annual salary ranges from 270,000 to 350,000 RMB (before tax) plus performance bonuses. The university supports applicants for the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Guangdong Province's postdoctoral talent program. Those who obtain the introduction plans from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security or Guangdong Province will receive an annual salary of up to 470,000 RMB (before tax) plus performance bonuses during the project period. 2) The university provides 200,000 RMB for postdoctoral research funds. 3) The research group will also provide postdoctoral research funds, performance rewards, etc. 4) On-campus postdoctoral apartments or rental subsidies will be provided. 5) Social insurance and housing provident fund will be paid according to the standards of personnel at the same level within the university. The children of postdoctoral researchers can attend the affiliated experimental school or kindergarten. 6) Postdoctoral researchers can apply for "pre-tenure - long-term tenure" teaching and research positions or full-time research positions at the university after their departure. Those who wish to go abroad can be assisted in applying for overseas talent programs, funds, etc. Benefits and Guarantees: The salary and benefits are determined according to the relevant regulations of South China University of Technology and the applicant's work experience. The research group will provide competitive salary and research conditions, as well as social insurance, housing provident fund, and relevant benefits of South China University of Technology.
