爱荷华州立大学Prof. Qi An课题组现诚聘一名博士后研究员,从事材料在光场或电场等极端条件下力学行为的前沿原子尺度模拟研究。
岗位职责:
·运用分子动力学、密度泛函理论及机器学习力场等原子尺度模拟方法,探索光场或者电场作用下材料的变形机理;
·与实验研究团队合作,验证模拟结果;
·在高水平期刊发表研究成果。
应聘要求:
·拥有材料科学、物理、化学、机械工程或相关领域博士学位;
·具备扎实的原子尺度模拟技术(MD、DFT、ML-FF等)背景;
·熟练掌握Python、C++等计算编程技能;
·有较强的科研成果发表记录。
薪资待遇: 年薪约58,000美元

Postdoctoral Research Associate Position in Computational Materials Science
Prof. Qi An’s group at Iowa State University is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral research associate to perform cutting-edge atomic-scale simulations investigating the mechanical behavior of materials under extreme conditions, such as light illumination or electric fields.
The successful candidate will:
·Perform atomistic simulations (molecular dynamics, density functional theory, machine learning force fields) to investigate deformation mechanisms under applied light or electric fields.
·Collaborate with experimental groups to validate simulation predictions.
·Publish research findings in leading peer-reviewed journals.
Qualifications:
·Ph.D. in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
·Strong expertise in atomic-scale simulations (e.g., MD, DFT, ML-FF).
·Proficiency in computational programming (Python, C++, or related).
·Good track record of research publications.
Salary: ~$58,000 per year
